About Us

Ranger Energy Services was established in January 2008.  

Our mission: To offer in-depth analysis for commercial  and residential structures and provide the benefits of the latest technology to reduce energy dependence; in many scenarios, implement those results of pioneering efforts and technologies.

Robert P. Ranger, SMA obtained his Mechanical Engineering Degree and established his Commercial Management career within the Commercial Real Estate Industry.  His portfolio of expertise, managment, awards of excellence and accomplishments, includes 5-Star hotel properties, such as L'Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, the Bel Age and Mondrian Hotels in West Hollywood, California, and millions of square feet of Class A office space, such as First Interstate World Center in Los Angeles, California,(the tallest{74 story} building west of the Mississippi River) and most other classifications of commercial space. He completed United States Navy Nuclear Power School.   Additional Education credits include MBA studies at UCLA.  A partial listing of other commercial properties previously in his Management portfolio encompassing his 30 year career is below.

Robert has created specialized techniques used over the last 3 decades to substantially reduce operating costs and increase bottom line profits while maximizing efficiency.  He has expanded the commercial real estate uses to include the residential grid for user friendly translation to any commercial or residential owner who follows the instructions and recommendations in the customized report.   A report is generated after the Energy Efficiency Evaluation is completed for the specified building to recommend 'low cost' and 'no cost' options.  This type of energy efficiency opportunity was previously only available to the commercial Real Estate Industry.

The objective of this work is to perpetuate net-zero or very little utility cost .  In many cases, utilities costs are redirected into revenue streams that equally serve the interests of investors and consumers. Ranger Energy Services has sought out leading edge technological systems and tools for maximum efficiency and environmentally responsible  application. This enables us to be one of the nation's most thorough energy evaluation systems.

Energy evaluations became popular in response to the energy crisis of 1973 when the oil embargo virtually shut down our oil supply in the US.  Cars were lined up at the gas pump and suppliers ran out of gas.  That was a time when our dependence on foreign oil was only 30%.    Now it is at 70%!  The term used at the time for these evaluations was 'energy audits'.  Interest in these evaluations has recently increased as a result of rapidly growing oil prices which have grossly affected our gas prices at the pump topping out at $4.28  a gallon on May 30, 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona according to the Arizona Republic newspaper.  Gas prices have increased food costs by more than 30% over the last two years and utility costs have increased by more than 35%.  We have no control over oil volatility in other countries (even though the price per barrel has been fluctuating recently) or utilities providers here in the United States.

We use the latest in technology and efficiency building practices, enabling us to be on the forefront of innovation and bring the most cost effective avenues of energy distribution to the residential and commercial sectors.   We have staff that carry BPI Certification for weatherization and solar.
